Pom, stunts & acrobats - Asgard All Stars Spring Into Action

Forget all sterotypes for Cheer Leaders. Cheer leading is more than what is portrayed on "Glee" and "High School Musical". It is a growing sport & industry in Australia.
The Fraser Coast now has its very own Cheer Leading Studio, Asgard All Stars. I sat down with a focused young woman, Kaytlyn Scott, to learn more about what she her business is. Once again, I am in awe of the strength of young women in our community, for following their passions to turn them into a lifelong business.
When I met Kaytlyn I had a sense we already knew each other & we quickly worked out that we have crossed paths at the Hervey Bay PCYC or one of the gyms where she has previously worked. I am leaning towards the PCYC as I don't generally work out, or work out at a gym. She is a quiet but confident woman. Her passion for Cheer Leading has been a part of her whole life. She furthered her education with qualifications in Cheer Leading. She has been working for others delivering all aspects of Cheer Leading lessons & competitions, but now her career has turned into her business. Her own business.
I really love these stories, you have to admit, we all want to work in something we love doing. Kaytlyn is no different. In our podcast Episode 29: Asgard All Stars , Kaytlyn shares her story & her plans for Asgard All Stars. What I found powerful about Kaytlyn's journey is the purpose behind her passion for Cheer Leading is driven by the change it makes to individuals, particularly school aged children & youth.
I have witnessed the change in young children & youth who, after training under me, have overcome body image issues, lack of confidence & even academically gained confidence.
Asgard All Stars will have classes for all age groups & all levels. They are also available on weekends for private bookings & corporate bookings.
