Everyday Entrepeneur @ Community Cubed
Transitioning a hobby or passion into a business is daunting at times. Especially if you are doing the hard yards on your own.
I have been through this process a few times over my career and can testify the importance of having market research & people with knowledge in your network. That knowledge & informalised mentoring adds value to your own knowledge base & skill set to platform your business or idea to start on the right foot with the greatest opportunity of success.
This is why I am so excited to share what I have learned from sitting & chatting with Community Cubed Business Manager, Jill Stephenson.
Cummunity Cubed, located in the Stocklands Shopping Centre Hervey Bay, is more than just an incubation space for handmade craftwares. This is a well structured & organised business space, with a proven success rate with supporting local business people to transition from concept to a operating business and even retail outlet.
Jill explains, as part of the one year birthday celebrations, Community Cubed is launching their Co-Working Space. This is a space where for a small membership cost, members can utilize the facilities for small workshops, seminars, meetings. The space also offers networking opportunities with other start up & existing business owners, a stimulating environment for home based business to work from, & even hot desks. NBN & Wifi is in process of being installed.
You may like to connect with Community Cubed through Facebook - here is a link.
Moving forward I know that I will be utilising Community Cubed Co-Working Space to tap away on my laptop & hopefully meet some interesting people to podcast with into the future. I am secretly hoping I can network to meet some entrepeneurs to value add to my own knowledge so I can pursue my business further.
